About
I'm a software engineer in Kitchener, Ontario, with a BSc in Computing from London Metropolitan University and two years of production experience across backend and full-stack work.
Most of my time goes to the server side — Java and Spring Boot services, RESTful APIs with a clean layered architecture, PostgreSQL schemas, and the Docker and GCP setup around them.
I like the parts of the job that don't show up in a screenshot: a schema that won't need migrating twice, a test that catches the thing before a user does, an API another developer can guess correctly.
